Hapag-Lloyd informs about introduction of consistent documentation cut-off times for Intra Asia traffic
In order to ensure accurate manifesting and identification of cargo on board our vessels, it is important that we receive shipping instructions accurately prior to vessel ETA.
Effective September 11, 2012 Hapag-Lloyd will introduce a consistent documentation cut off for Intra-Asia shipments.
From Monday to Saturday, the documentation cut-off will be set at up to 10 working hours prior to the arrival of the vessel in port.
The first effective vessels will be:
- Valerie Schulte V 01233 E ETD Nhava Sheva – September 11, 2012
- India Express V E 020 ETD Nhava Sheva – September 12, 2012
Effective October 15, 2012 a Late Shipping Instruction ( LSI ) fee will be introduced to offset the additional resources required for processing of late documentation.
This fee of USD 25 will be applicable to all shipping instructions received after the advertised documentation cut-off.
We thank you in advance for your support in ensuring timely submission of your shipping instructions.
